Ballet

Jasmine started ballet class last week. She already rocks my world at gymnastics and now this. There is no greater joy for me than watching her determined efforts at trying new things. Learning mastery. Connecting with her body. Listening to instruction. What is more mystifying to me is how working parents manage to fit in the activities of more than one child. Seriously, I am not capable of that much sacrifice. I need time to get my own daily exercise and I know that means that Jasmine spends more time in preschool than I would like. But for me, this is not a luxury so much as it is a necessity. That means that with weekly gymnastics, ballet and speech lessons and 2 working parents, our plates are full. It's GREAT! Tiring but great.

Yeah - it's cool when kids show the desire to learn new stuff!! And as for busy - somehow I think ya'll would learn to cope - in my case I just sleep less....I think of it as more like a 'nap' than sleeping! ;)

Thanks for the update - glad that ya'll are doing well!

hugs - and Gung Hey Fat Choy!!

LOVE the look of concentration on her sweet face. So glad that life is so full and fulfilling for all of you! Are you going to any of the CNY events in Sac or SF over the next two weeks? Would love to see you soon.

As a SAHM, I don't know how working parents do it. Just dropping two kids off at different schools and handling kindergarten homework is challenging enough! Our public school requires a lot of parent volunteering too. Not to mention 3 speech sessions a week. Looks like you're having fun. Glad you can still squeeze in a little blogging:) Glad all is well.
