I saw your comment on Laura Beth's blog. I immediately resonated with it. I've been reading everyone's comments all day and have been so impressed with all of the beautiful messages. I went back to re-read yours, and clicked on your name. It went to your blog and said you are a psychotherapist. I am too. No wonder I really picked up on your message. I just skyped with Laura Beth; she said today was a good morning. I can hear the frustration when she was retelling a story. It's so normal to be frustrated with out kids, but with Maya, it's so dangerous to show it right now. More power to her.
Anyhow, just thought I'd say hi. I'm the local therapist and work w/ adopted kids, but have 3 biological kids. You'll be anointed the long distance adoptive parent therapist. Girlfriend is going to need all she can get and then some!

Wow - go away to China for a couple weeks and look what happens - J turns into a little girl! Playing a little catch-up as we drift back into our own time zone - and love seeing how she looks and the changes in your life while the Internet is closed to blogspot! Really cool what goes on with you guys!
