As for the floaties - we have them - and I&#39;m a believer - but both our little girls (unlike the older 3) were &#39;ready swimmers&#39; from day 1! Q is all about being naked 24-7. We also skipped the pullups and went to the big girl panties. Q has been a pool rat for many months now, and yes, the floaties get worn as accessories (rather than necessities) much more often than not. I always thought of two-year-olds as basically babies.
