When I am sick / hurt / exhausted I used to feel guilty that Marie would pick up the slack - and she felt the same way. That was kinda dumb and added extra &#39;stress&#39; (self imposed) on the one that was ill / hurt / exhausted. Same kinda goes here don&#39;t it? So what if its and all day (or couple day) cartoon and ice cream marathon? That will get dull quickly enough and then the normalcy will return. At least in our home - the harder we force it the worse it can become.
